Born in Coventry (United Kingdom) in 1969, I first studied theology after leaving school before moving on to successfully complete my training as a registered nurse at Saarland University Hospital in 1997.
After my training, I worked in various departments at the university hospital in Homburg/Saar. I also attended various further training courses, including kinaesthetics and basal stimulation. Following a two-year, state-recognised advanced training course as a specialist nurse in pain therapy, oncology and palliative care, I pioneered the implementation and dissemination of palliative care in the residential geriatric setting. When working with cognitively and communicatively impaired people, conveying a sense of security and integrating sensory perception were essential for me. The integration of spiritual needs also became increasingly important.
At homo salus | the healthy human being, I would now like to continue on my path to harmonise body, mind and soul together with you. I have therefore completed further training courses in the fields of shamanism and aromatherapy and qualified as a massage and wellness therapist: building on my previous qualifications and experience.
